DESCRIPTION
At last there is a solution available for traveling executives who need secure access to their corporate e-mail, without the burden of carrying a laptop. With Zaurus Mail Server "Lite", users get remote, password-protected access to Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Mail E-mail through their Zaurus. Up to 20 users can send and receive messages, and even attach Excel spreadsheets and MS Word documents.

Zaurus Mail Server  "Lite" runs on any Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 95 machine attached to the LAN and uses the built-in Zaurus mail client. Multiple modems are supported, allowing companies to economically deploy a small modem pool to give users E-mail access.

Because of its centralized approach, ZMS "Lite" provides the perfect way to control E-mail access for remote Zaurus users. To access E-mail, users dial into the modem pool, sign on with a user ID and password, and proceed to send and receive their messages. The non-secure "profile" log-on used by Microsoft Exchange is superseded by ZMS "Lite", so even Exchange messages are now private and secure.
