WARRANTY/REPAIR
INFORMATION
All products are sold with the full
manufacturer's limited warranty. A copy of the warranty is
enclosed with these products. The warranties explain that the
manufacturer will repair or replace any defective or missing
part(s), depending on the conditions in the warranty. The
conditions of the warranty vary by manufacturer and product.
We encourage you to warranty-repair your product if possible, based on the manufacturer's warranty. You should obtain service directly from the manufacturer, not Pygmy Computer Systems.
RETURNS
& EXCHANGES
In order to keep our prices low, Pygmy accepts
defective items for exchange only. "Defective" means
that the item is returnable by us to our supplier. To be eligible
for exchange, you must notify us of the problem within 10 days
following the date of purchase. In the case of software, we
will exchange the defective product for the same title only.
Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
Before returning any item, you must call (305)253-1212 for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. RMAs are valid for 10 days from the date of issuance. Returns will not be accepted without an RMA.
Obtaining
the RMA
All exchanges must have an RMA number
displayed on the outside of the shipping box. To obtain an RMA
number:
Pygmy Computer Systems requires pre-authorization for the return of all products. Products not authorized for return shall be defined as "overgoods". Any overgoods received will, at our discretion, be returned to you at your expense, processed for credit of last purchase price, current price, cost of goods less a 15-percent handling fee, or no credit will be issued. Pygmy Computer Systems will not be liable for any loss or damage to overgoods.
DO NOT WRITE RMA NUMBERS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE MANUFACTURERS' BOXES!!! PRODUCTS MUST BE IN RESALABLE CONDITION TO RECEIVE CREDIT. PACKAGE ALL RETURNS TO PREVENT DAMAGE IN TRANSIT.
Merchandise that is returned in an incomplete state, has been used, abused, mistreated, arrives without an RMA number or is received more than 10 days after the RMA is issued cannot be accepted.
Shipping
Instructions
It is your responsibility to retain all original
packing materials and repack the item according to our
instructions. Any damage resulting from improper packing is the
responsibility of the customer.
If we receive merchandise with missing parts or with damage due to abuse, inadequate packing or some other non-compliance with Shipping Instructions, we may return to you at your expense. You are responsible for making these arrangements.
To exchange defective merchandise, follow the steps below. Any
service or repairs on products should be obtained directly from
the manufacturer.
