DESCRIPTION
Sharp's PC-1500A is a versatile and sophisticated computer system designed to help professionals perform their work more effectively and with greater efficiency. Together with its accessories, the PC-1500A provides personal automation that goes with you anywhere.

The PC-1500A delivers sophisticated data processing for a wide variety of users. For the businessperson, estimates, billings and balance sheets can be provided anywhere as required. For the engineer at a job site, complex technical computations can be performed quickly and accurately while in the field. Applications for the PC-1500A range from insurance quotations to weight and balance calculations for aircraft.

Expandable through the use of Pygmy EPROM cards or Sharp RAM cards, the PC-1500A can be programmed in Basic and provides a generous amount of external memory for data or program applications. Programs that previously required a larger lap-top or desk-top personal computer can now be run on a pocket computer.

Mini-graphic Display

Thanks to its mini-graphic functions, almost any display is possible on the 7 X 156-dot graphic display area. A line 26 digits wide can be displayed when using characters and numbers.

High-speed Data Processing

C-MOS 8-bit CPU enables swift data processing, while consuming little energy. Complicated technical or business calculations require very little time.

Operational Superiority

A typewriter-like keyboard enhances operational ease. Six software keys can reserve functions and commands, as well as define programs. The 3-level rotary system allows the six keys to actually do the work of eighteen different software keys. The PC-1500A can be locked into the RUN mode, thereby ensuring continuous carefree operation of the program without the chance of inadvertent erasure.

Programmable in Basic

Supports 1- or 2-character variables, arrays for easier matrix calculations, variable strings, commands for mini-graphic display, and many other advanced features.
