DESCRIPTION
The Palm III connected organizer is the electronic organizer that connects to your PC and makes sure that your important data is with you wherever you go. Palm III's unique HotSync technology is the key. With the touch of a button on the included cradle, Palm III can exchange and update information both ways, between your organizer and your PC. Contacts and addresses you've entered into Palm III are instantly uploaded to the Palm Desktop organizer software on your PC. Meetings you've entered on your PC are automatically loaded onto your Palm III organizer. E-mail waiting in your PC's in-box can be instantly downloaded to your organizer so you can read and write responses on the road.

HotSync technology makes sure all your information is synchronized and available on your Palm III organizer and on your PC. And best of all, it only takes a few seconds.

• Always in Synch with Your PC
  The Palm III organizer exchanges information with Palm Desktop organizer software (included) or other PIMS instantly.* Simply press the HotSync button to exchange and update information between your Palm III organizer and your PC and to create back-ups. Your data is always safe, and you'll never have to enter it twice!
  
• Check Your E-Mail
  Synchronize to download your PC e-mail to your Palm III organizer. Read and write responses at your convenience, then synchronize again to upload to your PC and send. Palm III is compatible with popular e-mail systems.

• Stylus and Flip Cover
  Navigate and access all the features on your Palm III organizer with the stylus. Then slide it away in its handy slot, close the protective flip cover and you're on your way.

• Find
  Locate names, numbers, notes...anything you need fast.
  
• Enter data three ways
  Transfer data from your PC using HotSync technology; tap it on the on-screen keyboard; or write it with Graffiti power writing software.
  
• To-Do List
  Manage tasks by creating one list, or several. Sort by priority or due date. Tap with your stylus and completed items disappear.
• Expense
  Enter expense items and amounts while you're on the road; then transfer them to your PC with one touch. It takes the hassle out of expense reporting.
• Memo Pad
  Take quick meeting notes, jot down directions; enter the name of that restaurant. Never make a mental note again.
• Address Book
  Store and organize thousands of phone and fax numbers, street and e-mail addresses for instant access.
• Cradle
  The included cradle connects your Palm III organizer to your PC. Drop your organizer into the cradle and push the button to exchange information with your PC anytime.
• Power button
  Hold for a few seconds to activate the backlit screen.

SPECIFICATIONS

MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR PALMPILOT TO PC CONNECTIVITY:

• IBM-compatible 486 PC or higher.
• 8 MB RAM minimum (16 MB recommended.)
• One available serial port.
• Mouse.
• Windows 95, or Windows NT 4.0.
• 12 MB available hard disk space.

PALMPILOT TO MACINTOSH COMPATIBILITY:

MacPac Connection Kit required (sold separately). Mail and Expense applications not currently supported on Macintosh, except through optional third party solutions, sold separately.
