8-Language Translator Card

Contains commonly used sentences and words specially designed for tourists and business persons travelling around the world. Added to English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Swedish, are the two major Asian Languages, Japanese and Chinese.

A total of approximately 450 sentences and 760 words for each of the 8 languages are available for translation between languages. Translation can be performed from 6 languages (all languages except Japanese and Chinese), to any of the 8 languages. For English, both American and British English are used, particularly for sentences and words with different expressions. Continental and Latin American Spanish are also included. Japanese and Chinese can be displayed in phonetic transcriptions (in Roman characters). 13 categories of expressions include airports, railway stations, hotels, shops and restaurants as well as emergencies such as theft and illness.
