TDK's award-winning modern technology gives you the ultimate fax/modem solution for the mobile professional. It keeps you connected wherever you are. Via phone line, the Cellular Companion 5630CE provides high-speed connections up to 56kbps using 56K ITU V.90 standard and K56flex. Out on the road, conveniently connect via your compatible digital PCS/GSM or conventional analog (AMPS) mobile phone using an optional TDK cable accessory.

Mobile Phone Connectivity

The Mobile Phone Connectivity option allows you to connect via digital PCS/GSM mobile phones and conventional analog cellular phones. When connecting through the PCS/GSM network you can be assured of a stable, reliable and safe connection. The Cellular Companion 5630CE is also compatible with the international PCS/GMS digital mobile phone networks allowing you to connect via a mobile phone, even abroad. Advanced Features

Digital Line Protection protects against damage when the PC card is accidentally connected to a digital PBX. The Cellular Companion 5630CE has Telephone Answering Device (TAD) capabilities, allowing you to use the Cellular Companion 5630CE as an answering machine when used on sound capable notebooks.
