DESCRIPTION
Now you can add Ethernet performance to your Windows CE H/PC. Socket's Low Power Ethernet Card is the first Ethernet adapter supported by Windows CE 2.0 and gives you a fast way to synchronize your H/PC with desktop PCs and share networked files. You can use the LP-E Card with a desktop PC partner to synchronize data, backup and restore your H/PC, exchange files, browse the web, and run e-mail via a POP3 host. By replacing a serial connection cable to perform these functions, the LP-E Card increases your performance by as much as 50 times. The LP-E Card also allows you to communicate with your partner desktop PC from anywhere on your network. The LP-E Card requires Windows CE version 2.x.

The LP-E Card consumes very little power and therefore allows you to operate your H/PC for longer periods without having to change or recharge batteries. The LP-E uses network drivers developed by Microsoft for Windows CE 2.0, eliminating concerns about software compatibility.
