DESCRIPTION
The CE-163 offers an adaptable 32K RAM which can be transformed into virtual ROM sections. The capability is not a true ROM but lithium cell that supplies the ROM section(s) with power for program storage up to 5 years. The programs can be erased when required. This transformation is achieved by moving the sliding switch located on the top of the CE-163's body. This advanced capability gives the PC-1500A the versatility to satisfy the expanded needs of every user.

The built-in battery of the CE-163 protects important programs up to five years when the CE-163 is connected to the PC-1500A and two years when the CE-163 is separated from the PC-1500A.
