Now there's a lightweight and portable way to connect a DVD drive to your notebook PC. The Pocket DVD comes with everything you need right in the box and simple install instructions. Can also be used as a CD ROM.
The Pocket DVD has a front loading tray with a Drive Access indicator, an Eject Button, and Manual Release. The back of the unit provides for the Power Adapter input, a Headphone Jack, the PCMCIA connector, and a Power Option switch.
For Windows 95 and 98, there are no additional drivers needed -- it's just Plug and Play! For Windows NT, a driver is included on a separate 3.5" diskette. The MPEG II software for Windows 95/98 is included on the CD.
The Pocket DVD can be powered from most notebook PCs' PCMCIA slot. Some notebooks may not supply the required power; in this case, use the included Keyboard Power Cord or AC Power Adapter and move the Power Option switch at the back of the unit accordingly.
